No dia 23 de dezembro, o vereador Luiz Aristides Pasa de Freitas (Maninho Freitas), juntamente com o diretor da Secretaria Estadual de Desenvolvimento Rural, Alex Teichmann, e o secret\u00e1rio municipal de Desenvolvimento Social, Diego Batista, estiveram em visita ao prefeito para tratar sobre o Programa de Aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de Alimentos (PAA).
Na reuni\u00e3o, foram tratadas a\u00e7\u00f5es e encaminhamentos relacionados \u00e0 execu\u00e7\u00e3o do programa no munic\u00edpio, que tem como objetivo fortalecer a agricultura familiar, garantindo renda aos produtores locais, ao mesmo tempo em que assegura o acesso a alimentos para pessoas em situa\u00e7\u00e3o de inseguran\u00e7a alimentar.
O Programa de Aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de Alimentos (PAA) \u00e9 uma iniciativa do Governo Federal, operacionalizada no Rio Grande do Sul pela Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Rural (SDR\/RS). Por meio do programa, o poder p\u00fablico realiza a compra de alimentos produzidos pela agricultura familiar, destinando-os \u00e0 doa\u00e7\u00e3o para fam\u00edlias em vulnerabilidade social.
A articula\u00e7\u00e3o entre as secretarias municipais e o Legislativo busca ampliar o alcance do programa, promovendo desenvolvimento rural, inclus\u00e3o social e seguran\u00e7a alimentar no munic\u00edpio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
